Cricket for Girls Head Coach is Lydia Greenway who represented England for 13 years. Lydia is a double World Cup winner and five times Ashes winner.

Laura Marsh is one of England’s most experienced players. She took her 100th International ODI wicket against Sri Lanka. One of only four English players to have done so.

Heather Knight

Heather Knight took over the reigns as captain of England in 2016 and knows what it is that makes a good leader. She is a reliable and trusty middle order batsman.

Katherine Brunt

Katherine Brunt is a right-arm fast bowler with a classical action. A member of the England women’s team she was England Women’s Cricketer of the Year in 2006 & 2010.

Natalie Sciver

Natalie Sciver is an all-rounder who was called up for England for the 2013 series against Pakistan. She took 3 for 28 against Pakistan in only her second ODI.

Beth Morgan

Beth Morgan is an energetic and high-intensity middle order batter who has represented England 100 times in both One Day and T20’s.

Jenny Gunn

Jenny Gunn is England’s all time leading wicket taker in One Day Internationals. Jenny has represented England 235 times in all formats of the game.

James Kirtley

James Kirtley is a former Sussex and England player, having represented England in all formats of the game. James is now the England Women’s bowling coach.

Helen Shipman

Helen Shipman is the Strength and Conditioning coach for the Academy. She understands the physical demands and requirements placed on the modern day cricketer.

Rob Taylor

Rob Taylor is an ECB Level 2 qualified coach (soon to be level 3) with International and First Class playing experience for Leicestershire CCC and Scotland for 5 seasons.

Linsey Smith

Linsey Smith has been playing cricket to a high level for a number of years. Recently selected to be part of the England Women’s Senior Academy, She also plays for Kia Super League winning team, the Southern Vipers. Linsey is a Level 2 coach.

Katie Midwood

Katie Midwood is an ECB Level 2 coach with experience coaching on county age group pathways (boys and girls), chance2shine programmes and Loughborough Lightning KSL community development programmes.

Naomi Matthews

Naomi Matthews has represented Ireland at U17 and U19 level, playing much of her club cricket for men’s teams. Naomi is a level 2 coach and assistant coach of the Northern Cricket Union (Northern Ireland) U17 team.
