Lydia Greenway Interviewed by Female Coaching Network

In December 2016, Lydia Greenway was interviewed by the Female Coaching Network. The FCN is the Leading Global Community of Female Coaches all of whom support, drive and influence real change in sports diversity.

The Female Coaching Network is designed give a way for female coaches to support, mentor and share knowledge with each other. It also helps raise the profile, standards and number of women coaching.

This approach is very much in line with that of the Head Coach and Director of ‘Cricket for Girls’, Lydia Greenway. She works hard at promoting the game of cricket in schools and clubs across the UK. She is also is vocal in encouraging more women to become coaches of the game.

As a recently retired England Women’s International cricketer Lydia understands the importance of coaching and female role models to girls playing cricket. Whether it is a grassroots coach setting a solid foundation for young cricketers or someone working at the elite level it is vital that there are more female coaches to inspire and support girls at every stage.
