Cricket for Girls
CPD Level 1 Course for PE Teachers
Lord’s Indoor Cricket Academy
Exclusive event for PE teachers to learn to coach cricket

Led by ex England Cricketers Lydia Greenway & Beth Morgan

Earlier this year we delivered our teacher CPD courses at The Home of Cricket, Lord’s.  We worked with over 100 teachers in the space of two days. Included in the day was a chance to wander around the iconic surroundings of the ground and sample “the best cricket tea in the world” at lunchtime. The outcome was that every teacher walked away ready to deliver cricket in their lessons with more confidence and knowledge. We are delighted to announce the first two dates of our level one course for 2019, with two more dates to follow for our level two course.

COURSE FACILITATORS

Lydia Greenway is Managing Director and Head Coach at Cricket for Girls. She played more than 200 games for her country, winning two World Cups and five Ashes series. Known for her incredible reverse sweep, she scored in excess of 4,000 international runs as well as pulling off numerous spectacular catches in the outfield. She now commentates for both BBC’s Test Match Special and Sky Sports. She is now devoted to encouraging young girls into the game.
Beth Morgan played cricket for England over a period of 10 years representing her country on over 100 occasions including in 2009 when England won both the World Cup and World Twenty20. A match winner on many occassions, Beth also spends her time helping to develop young players using her wealth of knowledge and experience.
